Spirulina Smoothie

Disclaimer: this recipe is based off of Kenzie Burke's Tropical Bub, so I don't want to seem like I am claiming it as my own, but I thought I would share my version of it since it is a little different than the one I have seen her make. This smoothie is made with spirulina which is a plant powder that is super high in protein, but honestly smells like fish ass. I bought it for the first time a couple years ago to try and make a blue/green acai bowl but I smelled it first and assumed it would also taste awful so I never touched it again. When I saw Kenzie Burke discuss spirulina in the tropical bub smoothie I thought what the hell I'll try it again and although I was extremely skeptical (like you probably are) I actually couldn't taste it at all. This smoothie is full of greens and tropical fruit - a perfect way to start your morning right?
