Superfood Banana Coconut Oatmeal

So the first time I tried this oatmeal I just cooked it like I did with any other oatmeal - with water. And well it wasn’t great. Not bad, just had no taste. I think this is due to the fact this oatmeal has 0 grams of sugar which is cool and something I honestly didn’t believe at first. The other oatmeals I had used before had added sugars, so it was time to get creative. Instead of water, I used coconut yogurt in the pot when cooking the oatmeal. I also mashed up some banana and stirred it in, along with good amounts of cinnamon. Second time around and it came out damn good even before I added banana slices and cinnamon on top. 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Purely Elizabeth superfood oatmeal

  • 1/3 GT's Kombucha Coconut Yogurt

  • 1/3 mashed banana

  • 1/3 sliced banana 

  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Cook the oatmeal and coconut yogurt in a pot

  • Add mashed banana and cinnamon in and stir

  • Place oatmeal into a bowl and top with banana slices and cinnamon
